Adjustable Bay Jig

This was my final year project for my Level 3 BTEC. Whilst on site installing various conservatories and small roof lanterns, I found that setting rafter spacings in small structures was difficult. To remedy this, I designed this adjustable jig. This would cut down on the time measuring each bay spacing, enabling us to work more efficiently.

I completed my project mid-lockdown and amidst company restructuring (meaning my company no longer made conservatories at all), so unfortunately I was unable to follow this project to production stage. I did however complete all the relevant work (ie. part and assembly drawings, bill of materials, material acquisition forms) to get this produced.
